FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

What is the difference between laminate and luxury vinyl?

Laminate has a wood-fiber core with a printed wood-look surface and is very scratch resistant, while LVP is fully waterproof. For bedrooms and living rooms laminate is a great value; for kitchens, baths, and very humid areas we usually recommend LVP. We will help you pick the right one for each room.

How long does a laminate floor last?

A quality laminate, installed over a properly prepped subfloor, easily lasts 15–25 years. The biggest factor is the prep and the underlayment underneath, which is exactly where we focus.

Do you remove my old flooring?

Yes. We pull up the existing flooring, prep and level the subfloor, and haul the old material away so your space is ready for the new laminate.
